Cosmoprof Asia Highlights Many New Features

The eighteenth edition of Cosmoprof Asia takes place November 13 – 15, 2013 – and many new features will be debuted this year at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The show is expected to attract around 2,000 exhibitors and more than 55,000 visitors this year.

Among the new features visitors will find at the show, are:

An International Buyer Program, to facilitate direct contact between exhibitors and select distributors and importers fromAustralia,China,India,JapanandNew Zealandthrough pre-scheduled meetings. The new Focus Country for 2013 will be theUnited Arab Emirates(UAE).

Group pavilions will represent Australia,Belgium,Brazil,Canada, mainlandChina, France,
Germany, Hong Kong,Israel,Italy, Japan,South Korea,Pakistan,Poland,Singapore,Spain, Switzerland,Taiwan,Thailand,Turkey, theUnited Kingdomandthe United States.

A new area of the show floor will be dedicated to Nail & Accessories – to cover every aspect of this fast-growing sector.

Two hair shows will be held at the show, for the first time, for an audience of more than 2,000 hairdressers and salon owners.

The hair shows will be:

“Intercoiffure: Vision of the Elite,” where world-class artistsfromEurope,Japan,South Korea, mainlandChinaandHong Kong will showcase their artistic vision, creativity in a three-hour performance.

“BeautyOdyssey,” staged by Shiseido Professional, to represent the start of a new journey for innovation and cutting-edge design fueled by the cyber city ofTokyo. Shiseido Professional iconic hair and make-up artistTadashi Haradaand his team will be unveiling new ideas in a variety of textures, colours and images.

A comprehensive educational track has alos been organized, which will include conferences covering a variety of topical issues and trends for beauty industry professionals.

The 6th“Cosmoprof Asia Spa Conference” will look into the operational and marketing aspects of managing a spa business.

The US industry analyst Kline & Company will discuss the market potential for beauty device in the East and in the West.

The “Focus onChina” seminar will provide hints on how to seize the opportunities of cosmetic channel sales inChina, whilst the “Focus onJapan” seminar will provide an overview of consumer trends inJapanthrough an analysis of social media.
